The performances will take place on Friday, 25th June 2021 and Saturday, 26th June 2021.
The performances will be held at the Southbank Piazza, 410 Stanley St, South Brisbane QLD 4101. Underground car parking is available directly next to the site through Secure Parking, or otherwise across the road at the Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre, or alternatively, street parking is available throughout the vicinity.
Tickets are on sale to the public from 1 February 2021, through our online portal. In the meantime, please ensure that you register for the latest updates on the performances through our website or otherwise follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
Sponsors and affiliates of Queensport Arts have been granted special pre-sale access to purchase tickets. If you are a member of one of our sponsor or affiliate organisations, please contact your leadership team for further information on how to secure your seat(s).
To ensure the spread of COVID-19 is mitigated, we have decided to limit the circulation of tickets electronically. If you are experiencing any issues with viewing your tickets or have yet to receive your electronic copies, please to contact our management team by email as soon as possible.
Upon entry to the venue, we will scan your ticket barcode from your smartphone or hard copy, but you must be capable of presenting the original e-ticket that was sent to your email on arrival. Screen shots of e-tickets generally may or may not scan through our system. If you are unable to download your original e-ticket before the performances, please speak to one of our representatives at the venue upon arrival.
While we appreciate that some ticketholders may decide to place their tickets on a resale website, we cannot guarantee the validity of tickets purchased through third party resellers. Any purchase made through a third party must otherwise comply with our Terms and Conditions before the ticketholder will be granted access to the performance(s).

Our stakeholders’ health and well-being are of paramount importance to us, which is why we are working very closely with state and federal authorities and our venue partner to ensure that we will deliver a series of performances which comply with all applicable laws. We cannot achieve this goal without the continued support and diligence of our stakeholders and patrons, which is why we urge you to check out our conditions of entry before you proceed to purchase your tickets and before you attend either of the performances.
BIG will otherwise operate under a Queensland Health approved Site Specific COVIDSafe Plan which accords with the relevant legislative framework at the time of the event. Under our current model:

To ensure the integrity of the event and our artist’ performances are maintained, the use of photographic and recording devices during in the artists’ performances is prohibited. We would otherwise encourage you to record and share your experience before and after the event, as well during intermission by using the hashtag #big2021 and @balletinternationalgala.
Our performances are designed with equal access and opportunity in mind. If you require special access to the venue, please do not hesitate to contact our management team by email for further information on how we can best accommodate your circumstances. We would encourage you to contact us as soon as reasonably practicable before the event, so that we have sufficient time to respond to your enquiry and to implement any changes. If you are assisting a ticketholder with special needs to either of the performances, a complimentary companion card will be issued to you along with your purchase of a ticket to the event.
You will be allocated a seat at the point of sale. If you are attending the performances in a group, we would strongly recommend that buy your tickets together. Alcohol will be served at the performances, but our staff reserve the right to check your ID at the time of purchase.
While attending the performance, you must wear appropriate clothing and footwear at all times. You must not wear headwear during the performance, except headwear that is a recognised part of your religious dress.
Food and drinks will still be available to purchase at the venue only, though a limited menu will be available to reduce queue times and encourage faster decision making for our attendees. All food and drinks must be consumed in your seat. Attendees will not be able to linger on concourses or remain standing while consuming food or beverages.

Queensport Arts and the venue puts the safety and well-being of our patrons as a number one priority. However, from time to time incidents occur in the venue that are out of our control. Guests who attend events do so at their own risk.
Doors open at close at the times printed on your ticket. We will contact you by email and publish on our website any change to the start or end times of either performance.
Please note, that we can only estimate the performance time for each event. This information may not become available until the day of the performance and subject to change on the evening of the event. To avoid disappointment and confusion we advertise the "doors open" time only, which appears on your ticket, and we advise you to arrive close to this time.
