A ballet danseur his entire life and a finalist at Prix de Lausanne, Joel chose to break away from dancing, landing a lead role in a feature film and founding Queensport Arts at 21 years old. Aiming to reinvent an industry he believed was in dire need of a shakeup, Covid-19 presented this chance.
Growing up in a family of musicians, Beck knew the industry’s hardships, and that he would produce the show, rather than be in it. Life-long friends with Joel, the two joined forces to create the greatest gala Australia has ever seen.
As a child Khalid dreamed of a career as script writer before establishing a successful career in entertainment law. Khalid has finally gone back to his roots and artistic nature, launching the Ballet International Gala.
Originally a ballet danseur, and brother to Julian, Nic met Joel at the Royal Ballet Summer School in 2017. Following a childhood spent in Russia, he took the leap to launch his own production company at only twenty years of age – reshaping how the world engages with ballet.
